The Community and Constituent Services Office believes in the development of community outreach programs and creating partnerships with Doña Ana County residents, external agencies and internal departments. We support Doña Ana County’s mission to “enhance the health, safety, and quality of life for all residents as determined by law and community interests.”

Based on staffing, outreach efforts are strategically planned to have an impact in our communities while producing positive and beneficial results for those we serve. These efforts led us to create programs such as the Countywide Read Across America Day Program, which promotes literacy in third grade students. The annual County Community Fair, which brings external agencies and county departments out to rural areas, making services and information more accessible to residents. Additionally, the Mobile Constituent Services Hour Initiative, a proactive way to reach out to constituents in rural areas of our jurisdiction. Additionally, as part of our outreach efforts, we share information about county programs, projects and initiatives with constituents. Through our interactions with the public, we encourage residents to get involved in their communities by considering joining the volunteer ranks with the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and Fire and Emergency Services.
