Fraud/Abuse Hotline
(855) 607-8694

Doña Ana County is an organization with strong values of responsibility and integrity. Our Code of Conduct and Human Resources Policies and Procedures contains requirements for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics by employees, volunteers and elected officials. Doña Ana County is committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception.

This hotline and website are designed to give employees and the public every opportunity to report concerns about county operations. Concerns are reported through a third party vendor, EthicsPoint, and can be reported 24/7. This hotline should only be used to submit reports relating to violations stated in our Code of Conduct and Human Resources Policies and Procedures. Individuals who report matters that are not in the County’s area of responsibility will be referred to an appropriate external agency.

Callers to the hotline will have report information taken by a professional Interview Specialist. Once a report has been made, the caller will receive a confidential code in order to check the status of the report. Online web reports are made through a customized form specifically for Doña Ana County.

Reports submitted via the hotline are forwarded to the county where the complaints are handled promptly, discretely, and dealt with in the appropriate manner. No retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential breaches of policies, or regulations, or contractual obligations. Employees and the public are expected to use good judgment in the use of this reporting system. EthicsPoint does not generate or maintain any internal connection logs with IP addresses, so there is no information linking your PC (at either work or home) to EthicsPoint.

Remember, how we do business is as important as the business we do. If you have concerns, speak up. Discuss them with your supervisor or manager. If you prefer to remain anonymous or rather report your concerns through the hotline, contact EthicsPoint.
